As a Climate Analyst, you'll be at the heart of our climate action and sustainability efforts, helping meet our mandatory climate-related disclosure requirements and further integrate climate risks and opportunities into our business operations.
Working alongside our Senior Climate Reporting Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in building long-term processes and capability around the climate transition and sustainability reporting, leading and supporting innovative and agile workstreams that drive resilience and enhance risk management.
Your contributions will help position IAG as a leader in making communities safer and continuously elevate our sustainability reputation.

This is a permanent full-time role open to our offices in Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland), Otautahi (Christchurch) & Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington).

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally meet the below criteria:Strong experience in a business analyst or similar role in a large enterprise environment.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights.Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work with all levels of employees and management.Familiarity with climate disclosure frameworks such as the Aotearoa New Zealand Climate Standards, TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) and/or broader sustainability/climate expertise.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.High attention to detail and accuracy with a strong focus on quality of work.We celebrate unique viewpoints shaped by life experiences, cultures and passions.
