Our reputation for delivering consistently high-quality home support and nursing care is due in no small measure to the experience, professionalism, commitment, and sheer drive of our people.We are offering the opportunity for you to join a small team of support workers, providing care across 7 days a week for a high needs' client.If you have NZQA Level 3 or Level 4 Health and Wellbeing qualification and enjoy supporting clients with complex needs, we would love to hear from you.The ideal candidate would have the following:Proficient knowledge and understanding of the support worker roleNZQA Level 3 or Level 4 Health and Wellbeing qualificationAbility to perform all aspects and skills within the support worker role in line with best practice.Te Mahi/About the PositionWorking autonomously with a wide range of clients in the communitySupporting clients with showering, dressing, mobility, prompting medication, compression hosiery application, housework, and meal preparationLiaising with colleagues regarding client care and wellbeingUsing your personal vehicle to drive between scheduled visits.Hours of work:The hours available include 3 separate 2-hour visits per day and an 8-hour sleepover visit which would include hygiene, meal prep, transfers to bed, and repositioning across the 7 days.A commitment to being available to work weekend days is required.He momo/About youBe professional, honest, reliable, and friendly in your approach.Maintain professional boundaries with clients.Be fit and able to achieve all tasks associated with the position.Hold a full New Zealand drivers' licence and have your own reliable transport.Be legally entitled to work in New ZealandHave received at least two COVID-19 vaccinations and be able to provide evidence of your vaccination record.Ki te huanga/Benefits of working at Nurse MaudeAs well as receiving fulfilment from helping others, Nurse Maude offers:Wellbeing - The wellbeing of our staff is very important to us.
