Application Closes: 30 Sep 2024 Location: Nelson Join an innovative, industry-leading business Customer-focused role with a supportive tight-knit team About the Role As the Client Services Coordinator, you will be our key contact for all things planning around customer international shipping, logistics, and operations, providing support for queries and ensuring all deadlines are met.
You will hit the ground running, with day-to-day coordination of all coastal and international shipping movements, customs brokers, transport, storage, equipment availability, and tank leasing, ensuring customer requirements and expectations are delivered to a high standard.
Stakeholder management will play an important part in your success in the role, with you effectively managing both internal and external stakeholders in your day-to-day activities.
You will have a strong relationship focus with proven experience in developing operational relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transport providers, and 3PL service providers ensuring a seamless service is delivered to our customers.
About You Problem-solving will come naturally to you, with the ability to efficiently work through issues and complaints as they arise.
In this role, no two days will be the same; therefore, you will thrive on variety and be highly adaptable.
You will be comfortable working in a small team, where collaboration and the ability to pitch in is key.
You will have solid commercial acumen and be able to effectively manage risks.
A multi-tasker with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, you will have a minimum of 2 years of shipping, supply chain, or logistics experience, ideally dealing with international freight.
You will have a solid understanding of 3PL warehousing and distribution processes.
You will have data analysis skills with the ability to take forecast and planning data and turn it into an operational plan.
An understanding of the New Zealand Wine industry would also be beneficial, but not essential.
