You will work closely alongside our Partner and Team Leader to make a difference to our clients' businesses and future by providing business mentoring/coaching and group workshop programmes. This is a newly created role due to growth and expansion within our firm.The role includes:Regular contact with your clients and building a trusted relationship.Business Advisory Services including tax, management reporting, analysis of financials.Assisting business mentoring meetings with clients and eventually group workshops (with full training given).Reviewing accountant's work to ensure exceptionally high standards are consistently met.Client meetings to go over tax plans, annual financial statements, cash flows and budgets.Help champion new technology for internal implementation and assisting clients' needs. Working closely with the senior team regularly on varied and specialist projects.Analysis, interpretation, and communication of KPI's with the team and clients.What you need:4+ years of BAS experience in a New Zealand CA practice environment.To be adaptable to change and new software.Excellent verbal and written skills and have the ability to liaise with a range of clients.Have a sound knowledge of accountancy software and computer skills.Experience in Xero & FYI is advantageous.Ability to meet deadlines.Have capable leadership skills.Have initiative and take charge where necessary in a group situation.Be a self motivator and enjoy working as a team.A "can do" attitude that thrives on special projects and new client work, whilst maintaining excellent rapport and service to the practice and your clientsIncentives:Clear communication, supportive training, respected and appreciated for your efforts.Opportunity and variety.Making a difference in the businesses you and your team work with.Fantastic workplace culture.Flexibility with an excellent work/life balance.Easy parking.Good coffee and always guaranteed a laugh.
