About the Role The ideal applicant will be instrumental in supporting the team as we continue to grow our business. We are looking for someone with the following attributes:
Manage and supervise the daily operations of Client winemaking in accordance with plans developed in conjunction with the Client's winemaker.Be actively involved all aspects of the winemaking process, including cellar work, lab analysis, and shift supervision over vintage.Ensure all wine is made to the highest possible quality standard in an efficient and professional manner. About you You will hold a tertiary qualification in Winemaking, Oenology, or relevant related fields.You will have a minimum of five years' industry experience.Experience in wine production is essential, including Vintrace and hands on experience in a winery cellar.You will possess a practical knowledge of wine making systems, processes, and safety requirements.You will have excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and work to multiple deadlines.You will be self-motivated, with the ability to work as part of a team, and independently, when required.You will participate in and enhance any food safety assurance programmes being operated by the companyYou will contribute to maintaining a strong health and safety culture and identify continuous improvement opportunities.Bring a sense of humour, passion for winemaking and desire to have fun to our dedicated, hardworking team.
