No two days are the same.We currently have an excellent opportunity to gain great institutional experience in assisting the management of clients across our Financial Institutions team.What are some of the day-to-day tasks of a Director?Grow, develop, and manage a portfolio of FI clients.Lead credit submissions, ensuring a high-quality, consistent approach.Manage and negotiate the loan documentation process with external lawyers.Help identify new business and referral opportunities and establish, develop, and utilise networks of internal and external contacts to aid achievement of income targets.Work with BNZ product partners to grow Markets and Transaction Banking opportunities.Build relevant sector knowledge through attendance at industry conferences and research to understand the external environment, trends, opportunities, and challenges facing clients in the sector.Help grow the team by mentoring and developing the wider team.What is the team culture and environment like?You will be joining a high-performing team, always striving for excellence. It is a fast-paced environment, so if you enjoy being busy and working autonomously, then you will thrive in this team!What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?As a senior member within the team, you will have significant responsibility and regular contact with clients and colleagues, particularly product partners, to provide a wide range of products and services to a diverse set of clients.What attributes will this person display to be successful in this role?We are looking for someone who has deep experience in lending and superior credit risk analysis skills, including financial analysis, credit issues, risk management, and debt structuring.You will be self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and great attitude.
