No two days are the same.BNZ's Corporate Banking Team proactively provides support to businesses with EBITDA of $5m+, specialising in acquisition and growth funding. There are currently 11 Corporate Directors nationwide, with coverage from Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, and Queenstown.We have an excellent opportunity for a strategic and well-established banking professional to join our team in Auckland as a Client Director, to drive further growth in the Corporate Banking business.What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?Proactive business development, leveraging networks to generate leads, driving further growth of the business.Manage a portfolio of high value and/or complex client relationships in order to maintain and enhance profitability, customer satisfaction and credit risk profile.Develop and implement a strategic and tactical plan for each client, based on knowledge of the clients industry, growth projections, funding strategies and objectives.Work closely with specialists and other colleagues to meet Corporate customer needs.Contribute to the wider Corporate team growth by sharing industry and market insights across the national team.What attributes will this person have in order to be successful?We are looking for a highly organised and ambitious networker, with proven relationship building skills, along with well-developed negotiation & influencing skills at senior management level.Ideally you will also have a thorough understanding of the issues, risks and trends associated with the corporate banking sector, as well as the ability to understand and communicate complex structures.This is an exciting opportunity to join us!
