About the RoleWe are seeking a permanent Booking Clerk and Receptionist Reliever to join our team within the Outpatient Clinics, Meade Clinical Centre.The role is essential in assisting with the smooth running of the Outpatient Clinics across several different specialities.
Duties include but are not limited to: Communicating with staff, patients and their familiesOrganising, preparing and distributing patient records and other documentationMaintaining accurate computer records of patient attendance at clinicBooking appointments for patientsInforming patients of requirements for procedures About the TeamMCC Outpatient Clinic is a busy, fast paced environment providing support to may different specialties About youThe successful applicant will need: Excellent communication skills with a positive and friendly attitude.Strong customer service focusProven and demonstrated experience in an administration role and computer skillsTo be innovative and flexible with excellent time management and organisational skillsTo be flexible with working hours.
Earliest start time is 7.30am, latest finish time is 5.00pm.Previous experience in healthcare and iPM would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growthExperience in upholding Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
