Directly supporting our Key Account Manager, this role has a key focus to drive improvements to the standards of service delivered. The position is responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination and supervision of the Whakatane Hospital Cleaning teams.Profile:Proven Cleaning experience, with exceptional standardSupervisory and management experience is preferredExcellent communication skills – oral and writtenHighly organised, solutions focused with a good eye for detailMust be able to interact with a variety of people including staff, clients and the general publicMust be physically fitHigh level of self-motivation as well as the ability to motivate a team to consistently deliver the highest standard of serviceDeliver and actively engage in staff trainingEnsure all equipment maintenance is current, liaise with Key Account Manager regarding any equipment breakdowns and issuesIdentify and record any problems relating to cleaning services and or safety then initiate, recommend or provide solutions through the Key Account ManagerInvestigate complaints, compliments, incidents, and report findings to the Key Account Manager within the allocated time framesRespect patient property, privacy, and confidentiality at all timesUndertake any other duties as directed from time to time by the Key Account Manager commensurate with your abilities and trainingMonitor ongoing progress of all cleaning staff within designated areas and act promptly and appropriately to address performance, disciplinary or conflict issues with the Key Account ManagerArrange and coordinate relief staff including those required to cover approved leave and emergencies to ensure all sites are cleaned to specificationDaily and weekly team reporting of H&S, staffing, training, and customer requests/concernsLead by example to reinforce and promote ISS commitment to safe work practice and a health working environmentParticipate in monthly Health and Safety meetings held with H&S representativesNZ Full License is preferredBenefits:Working for a leading organization with a fantastic reputationFull job training given, with regular feedbackGreat team culture in a fantastic work environmentUniform ProvidedRequirements:Reliable and responsibleA can-do attitudeSelf-motivatedA clean criminal record is a mustProof of covid vaccination statusNew Zealand work rightsNZ Full License is preferredIf this sounds like you, please apply by clicking 'apply'.ISS is passionate about creating a culture that values inclusion and diversity, where all our people are treated fairly and respectfully.
