We are currently looking for a Cleaning Area Supervisor to help and support our team based in Waikato, Hamilton.

Contract will be for an 8-week period.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, with some weekend availability required.
About you:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand - Valid New Zealand Work Visa, Resident Visa, or Citizenship.
Valid Driver's License.
Pass a Ministry of Justice (Criminal Conviction History) check.
Physically fit for the job.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Good attention to detail.
Strong work ethic with great customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, following training and instructions.
About the role:
Supervise and lead a team of cleaners during the afternoon shift, ensuring adherence to cleaning schedules and quality standards.
Coordinate and assign cleaning tasks to team members, distributing workload appropriately.
Conduct regular inspections to monitor the cleanliness of the shopping mall, addressing any deficiencies or areas needing improvement.
Train and onboard new cleaning staff, providing guidance on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
Collaborate with mall management and other departments to address specific cleaning needs and maintain effective communication channels.
Maintain inventory and order necessary cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, seeking resolutions and maintaining positive relationships.
