Cleaner – Part Time

Thompson's Horticulture Ltd is a second-generation family business that owns and manages Kiwifruit, Grapes and Apple Orchards.
We are committed to working the land and environment and to leave both in a better condition than how we found it for our future generations.
We are looking for a cleaning superstar to join our team on a part time basis to clean our RSE accommodation and office spaces!
This is a new position within Thompson's and we are looking for someone with drive and determination to make the role a successful one!
In this role you will be responsible for cleaning RSE worker accommodation and our office spaces to a high level and in a professional manner.
You will be responsible for: Cleaning to a high standard Working to a schedule, being time conscious.
Attending to each job with an open mind and enthusiasm Specific tasks could include (but are not limited to): Cleaning floors, walls and ceilings Cleaning windows, mirrors and glass surfaces Kitchen cleaning: floors, surfaces, cupboards, drawers and ovens when needed Dusting Assisting with set up of houses for new arrivals Departure cleaning of houses Cleaning office areas; surfaces, floors, kitchen and toilets We'd love to hear from you if you have: Previous cleaning experience Self-motivation and an ability to work autonomously Knowledge of Health and Safety Exceptional attention to detail Reliable and honest Your own Transport The ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test An understanding of the RSE programme and pacific island cultures is desirable but not essential.
Applicants also need to be physically fit and have the ability to cope with medium to heavy physical elements including walking standing, crouching, bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying objects and repetitive movements.
