Cleaner

We are looking for Cleaners for our company who will perform cleaning duties primarily within Tauranga; however, they may also be required to travel to Auckland or the Hamilton region for the performance of their duties. The key duties of the person will be as per below:

Clean commercial premises as directed by the management.

Clean some residential premises in a proper manner.

Empty containers, bins, and trays; remove rubbish and recyclable material.

Operate vacuum cleaners to clean floors, work areas, and machines.

Clean windows of buildings at heights using different cleaning materials.

Drive company vans to different client locations for the performance of your duties.

Remove dust and dirt from ceilings, walls, overhead pipes, and fixtures.

Apply different cleaning materials on surfaces to remove stains and dirt.

Strip wax from floors, re-wax, and polish floors.

Perform inspection and maintenance activities and document them.

Notify management of occurring deficiencies or any repairs that are needed.

Make adjustments and minor repairs to the cleaning equipment.

Clean and disinfect wet areas and report on defective plumbing fixtures.

Keep track of cleaning supplies that are replenished.

You will be required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week .

Other requirements:

Valid Driver's license to drive a manual company van.

Available to work on weekends sometimes as and when required.

Comfortable working at heights.

Physically fit to perform various tasks.

Attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
