Driving Creek Railway – Thames, North Island Driving Creek is seeking an enthusiastic outdoor focused person to join our team as a Zipline Guide in a permanent role. Driving Creek is a leading tourism organisation and renowned pottery that began as a grass-roots pottery in 1973, and organically became one of The Coromandel's most popular tourist destinations. We offer immersive visitor experiences within a beautiful native forest that includes New Zealand's only mountain railway tour, an eight zipline canopy tour, and pottery classes and workshops. As a not-for-profit organisation, we protect and enhance our native environment through impactful conservation programmes, and enrich the artistic community by offering free artist residencies to inspire shared learning and support for the artistic community. About the job As a Cleaner at Driving Creek, your role is essential to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our visitors. You will be responsible for cleaning and tidying various areas, including public spaces, restrooms, offices, and occasional accommodation rooms. By ensuring our facilities are well-kept, you will contribute to enhancing the overall Driving Creek experience for everyone. The Cleaner pay rate is $28.50 per hour, with a minimum of 6 hours per week, but this may increase to accommodate different schedules. About you We're seeking a highly organised and proactive person who has excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The ideal person will be able to follow cleaning schedules and safety protocols, working independently to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout our facilities. You will be able to work well within a team-focused environment, contributing to the overall smooth operation of Driving Creek. Experience with cleaning equipment and products is preferred, but a professional and reliable attitude is the most important quality we are seeking.
