This is why Totara Gardens Care Home is searching for like-mind Cleaner and Laundry worker to join our community on a Permanent Part-time basis. We would require the Cleaner and Laundry Worker to work Monday to Friday, 3-4 days per week. Hours required: 15 hours Cleaning & 3 hours Laundry, approximately 18 hours per week in total.
As part of our Housekeeping team, you will help create a homely and healthy place for our residents by providing an exceptional cleaning service to the Care Home. You will help us rise to the challenges of enriching the lives of society's most vulnerable.
Where You Will Make an Impact
Maintain a high standard of cleaning as set out on the cleaning schedule.
Managing cleaning supplies.
Meeting of daily schedule to ensure that residents' rooms and public areas are in perfect order, reporting any faults or issues to the Household supervisor.
Adhere to Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe chemical use and storage.
Treat residents with respect and dignity.
What About You
Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is preferable.
Be prepared to roll up your sleeve and get stuck into whatever needs to get done.
Demonstrate enthusiasm, care, and passion for making a difference in our residents' lives.
Must have flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week, including weekends and evenings.
Reliable transport or travel arrangements.
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
