Join our dedicated and hard-working Environmental Services Department and help maintain our facilities, while providing a suitable environment for our turoro (patients) and whanau (families).
You will be part of a small fast-paced team that plays an essential part of maintaining Christchurch Health Campus. The team provides exceptional cleaning services 365 days a year, across both day and night shifts.
You will be responsible for: Completing all cleaning tasks to international healthcare standards Ensuring daily schedules and tasks are completed within set timeframes Operating and maintaining equipment safely around patients and whanau Handling cleaning solutions in accordance with safety protocols Shifts available: 40 hours per week - Thursday to Monday 6.30am - 3pm 40 hours per week - Wednesday to Sunday 6.30am - 3pm 32 hours per week - Saturday to Tuesday 6.30am - 3pm 24 hours per week - Thursday to Saturday 6.30am - 3pm 24 hours per week - Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday 6.30am - 3pm Please ensure you indicate your preference in your cover letter.
Based at Christchurch Health Campus. Salary starting rate $23.75 per hour, based on the E tu Service and Food Workers collective agreement.
