Progressive Meats are looking for a staff who are a cut above the rest!
We are a leading-edge processor of Lamb and Beef in the sunny Hawke's Bay. This current opportunity for full-time, permanent employment on our family-orientated plant is in Kelfield Place, Hastings.
We currently have opportunities in the following areas:
Cleaners - machine and factory sanitizing (Backshift, 10.00 pm start Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts)
Weekend availability required.
We are looking for the right kind of person to join our team. We have a unique operating environment, so it's really important that candidates are physically fit to safely do our work - ideally you should be able to stand for long periods, move up/downstairs and around machinery, undertake moderate to heavy lifting, wear appropriate safety gear, and potentially operate safely in a wet or cold environment.
Candidates also need to be motivated, reliable, and have a desire to work 40+ hours a week. We're looking for a person who is keen to be part of a successful team, who understands and is willing to do their part for the benefit of the whole team. There will be a requirement to work independently and to meet production deadlines.
Full training is provided. Cleaning & Chemical Handling experience preferred.
