Classroom Teachers (2 Special Character Positions) St Mary's Catholic School (Rotorua) – Rotorua, North Island
We are seeking two motivated, enthusiastic, and collaborative teachers committed to high-quality teaching and learning. The successful applicants will have sound curriculum knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and be able to develop strong, respectful relationships with students, staff, and whanau.
The applicants should have a strong foundation in teaching literacy and numeracy. It would be advantageous if you were familiar with Explicit Direct Instruction Pedagogy and the Science of Learning. Candidates should have experience in teaching structured literacy.
A willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of our school is a condition of appointment.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the relevant collective agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will depend on the applicant's qualifications and experience. Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
