Classroom Teacher (Y3-5)

Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 27/01/2025, End Date: 19/12/2025 (Maternity leave)
Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
Subjects: English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Maori, The Arts
We seek an enthusiastic Christian teacher who is passionate, well-organised, highly skilled, and capable of teaching multilevel classes (Y3 to 5/senior room). The successful applicant must have sound knowledge and strengths in literacy and mathematics and value collaborative collegiality with school colleagues.
If you are passionate about making a difference, raising student achievement, and considering yourself a lifelong learner, teaching in our small, vibrant, progressive learning environment with fantastic students and a supportive Christian community, this position would be ideal.
A condition of employment is a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Seventh-day Adventist special character and demonstrate the capabilities to maintain programmes and activities that reflect the school's special character.
