The successful applicants will demonstrate a collaborative approach, the ability to build strong relationships with whanau, a belief in being a learner themselves and contribute to our friendly and caring staffroom culture. They must have a commitment to Te Ao Maori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi that is actualised in their pedagogical practice and culture of care.
We are seeking two teachers who:
Are energetic and motivated, with proven success in accelerating student achievement and improving educational outcomes for all learners.
Have proven skills in te reo and tikanga Maori pedagogy and practice, with a commitment to working with culturally responsive, strength and evidence-based practice.
Have evidence and successful experience in understanding and managing students with a diverse range of learning needs, particularly for those requiring additional support, or accelerated opportunities.
Are great team players with a sense of humour and who enjoy strong relationships with students, staff and whanau.
Are committed to working collaboratively and contributing fully to school life.
Have experience with Structured Literacy and ICT.
