ROLE SUMMARY: We are currently seeking applications for a permanent, full time Classical Studies/Social Science teacher to join our incredible team. ACG Strathallan is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school based in Karaka, Auckland. We cater for students in Years 0-13, delivering the Cambridge Curriculums.
We require an experienced practical teacher who is able to deliver motivational and differentiated lessons that cater for students' individual needs. The successful applicant will enjoy working as a part of a supportive team, and be willing to contribute to the corporate life of our school.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach secondary year levels, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment.
Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities within your classes to maximise student development.
Develop excellent working relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
Ensure the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities.
Participate in wider school activities.
Ensure student's welfare and safety in every moment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and/or MBA).
Experience in teaching social studies curriculum to a high standard.
Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in students and parents.
