About Us: Sano is focused on supporting our community to improve their health. Movement is an essential part of our philosophy alongside other services such as massage, contrast therapy, red light therapy, and infrared sauna. We want to empower individuals to take ownership of their health and feel confident and safe in all our movement classes. We also believe in variety and will be offering Yoga, Pilates, Calisthenics, and Functional Movement to allow people to develop the right movement mix that works for them. We are looking for enthusiastic, certified instructors to join our team and lead engaging, high-quality classes.
Position Overview: We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled instructors in the following areas:
Yoga (Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Restorative, or other styles)
Mat Pilates
Functional Movement Training
Instructors will be responsible for delivering safe, fun, and effective classes that align with Sano's approach. Our community includes people with varied health needs and your classes will be a key element of their rehab and recovery. Key Responsibilities:
Lead group fitness classes (Yoga, Pilates, Calisthenics, or Functional Movement)
Develop and adapt class routines to meet the needs and abilities of participants
Collaborate with therapists to design classes and programmes to support particular health needs
Demonstrate correct technique and form to ensure safety and effectiveness
Motivate and encourage our community to reach their personal fitness goals
Maintain a positive, supportive, and welcoming class environment
Continuously update your knowledge and techniques to provide the best possible instruction
Qualifications:
Relevant certification (Yoga, Mat Pilates, or other fitness-related qualifications) and registration with a governing body is preferred, but not essential
Previous teaching experience preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of anatomy, movement mechanics, and injury prevention
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to the needs of various fitness levels
First-aid trained (or willing to get first-aid trained)
