Class 5 Linehaul Driver - Christchurch

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Class 5 Linehaul Driver, based at our Christchurch Branch. This Class 5 Linehaul Driver role is a permanent full-time position, reporting to the Christchurch Operations Manager. You will be required to work a minimum of 60 hours per week, starting 12:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday. This run is Christchurch to Nelson return run.
We are after a person with the following skills, experience and certifications: Must have: Clean and valid Class 5 drivers Licence Current Dangerous Goods Endorsement Minimum 2 years' experience of class 5 driving in New Zealand domestic transport industry or international comparison Good driving skills, able to drive and back a truck and trailer unit with confidence Strong, reliable and safe work ethics Able to work unsupervised Good command of the English language Relates well to others Desirable: Current Forklift Operator Certificate Current DG Handling for Road Transport Certificate Basic knowledge of the geographic layout First Aid certificate If you can demonstrate the above attributes with a proven work history then we would like to hear from you.
