We require 4 Class 5 drivers to join our busy fleet.
We need full time staff working at least 30 hours a week travelling through out multiple locations in New Zealand including Nelson, Wellington, Canterbury, Northland, Southland, Waikato
with the following qualities. If you have what it takes to be behind the wheel then this is for you.
Ideally, you will have:
Full Class 5 Drivers licence or equivalent
A can-do and motivated attitude
Be Supportive and Respectful
You will be performing the following duties but not Limited to:
Check and secure load condition. Match shipment contents to manifest document.
Adhere to predetermined route, ensure timely transport &delivery.
Communicate with dispatch as needed.
Inspections of vehicle prior to and following each trip.
Check weather conditions and road reports before departure.
Ensure vehicle cleanliness. Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.).
Notify of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
Follow delivery schedule and rest at appropriate times.
Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
Track and report working hours.
Adhere to company rules ®ulations.
Follow &adhere to all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions.
Make safety a priority at all times.
Loading/unloading of goods.
Follow correct safety procedures.
Keep records of, and check invoices for, goods they carry.

When recruiting for this position we ask that along with the candidate is flexible and is able to work a range of days and times, reliable, would come to work on time and in a professional manner, and has a good work ethic, willing to complete the tasks assigned.
