The role
TRBR Ltd is seeking an experienced Class 5 Driver / House Mover to join our team in Whangarei Central Northland. This full-time role is a crucial part of our logistics operations, responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of houses and other oversized loads.
Key responsibilities
Operate heavy-duty commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport houses and other large items
Carefully plan and execute house moving operations, ensuring loads are properly secured and transported safely
Maintain a high level of safety awareness and compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks to keep the equipment in top condition
Work closely with the logistics team to coordinate pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring on-time performance
Provide excellent customer service and communication throughout the transportation process
What we're looking for
Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record
Proven experience operating heavy vehicles, particularly in the house moving industry
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to navigate complex logistics challenges
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety protocols
Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights and weekends as required by projects
