Class 5 Civil Drivers - Hornby Or Rangiora Roading and Building Recruitment – Rangiora, South Island
We currently have a number of Class 5 Civil Driving roles for an immediate start based in either Hornby or Rangiora for experienced Class 5 Drivers looking to start now!
THE GIG:
We currently have a number of opportunities for Civil Class 5 Drivers with experience operating Road Ranger vehicles in a Construction environment based out of either Hornby or Rangiora.
These roles will see you carting from Point A to Point B, will require you to jackknife, spread and tip at times, whilst working with a range of larger Civil clients throughout Canterbury. At times, you will also operate Class 4 Vehicles working off road on farms assisting with carting of hay and plant/machinery.
As a Class 5 Driver, you will be expected to work within a crew of 3-4, where communication and teamwork will be required to ensure the projects are completed at a satisfactory pace, with an expectation to hold ConstructSafe or Site Safe or have a willingness to obtain.
Given this role involves regular work in the outer areas of Christchurch, an understanding of the Mid Canterbury/Selwyn/Hurunui roads is highly beneficial, although not a necessity.
THE GOODS:
Excellent starting rate Monday to Friday with optional Saturday. Immediate Start Available. Extremely strong workload. Excellent company reputation of success.
YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF:
Hold Class 5 NZ Drivers Licence.
Recent working references.
Previous experience within Civil Construction.
Ability to work within a team.
Excellent communication.
Physically fit.
Have the ability to pass a Drug Test.
Have a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
