Class 4 Truck Driver / Operator

JB's is looking to expand our team of Class 4 HydroVac operators due to our constantly expanding fleet. We are looking to employ energetic, proactive and reliable Class 4 Hydro Vac Operators.$35.00 starting rate- Start Immediately- Levin Based ideal- Hours usually 6am-5pm- Involves Saturday Work (1/2 day)- Work fit- ZERO TOLERANCE FOR DRUGSLocation:- JB's Environmental Ltd, 28 Tararua Road, Levin- Anywhere within the Manawatu, Horowhenua, Wellington Area.Job Description:- Drive and operate truck- Manage assigned Daily work- Checking, maintaining and signing off jobs with relevant information within My Trucking- Recording accurate and detailed information in diary of day-to-day activities- Complete a prestart on equipment/machinery/vehicle at the start of each working day on Quipcheck.- Daily check of fluids- Ensure truck exterior and interior is kept clean and free of rubbish.- Check RUC and registration – advise office when required- Fuelling up at depot or on company fuel card- Any concerns about vehicle are to be recorded on QuipCheck and reported to senior management- Attend regular Toolbox meetings- Ensure you have an understand and abide by the Health and Safety Manual.- Communicate with Clients if necessaryExpectations and Duties:- Understand and abide by the Company's Health and Safety policies- Having the correct licenses for the class of truck operating- Safely and efficiently carrying out set task(s) with pride- Work safely and lead by example through appropriate safety attitudes and behaviours- Personal protection equipment must always be worn as required for the site- Ensure that Health & Safety site requirements are completed and in place prior to any work starting on site.- Maintain and respect company, client and personal equipment, property, and plant- Maintain personal appearance (clean and tidy)- Work on other tasks/duties within JB's Group- Incidents to be reported to Management immediatelyWant to find out more?
