Description About the role:Delivering orders to our customers in a timely, professional, and safe manner.
We use a range of hassle-free, modern-day apps and hand-held technology, limiting the need for drivers to complete lengthy paperwork, saving you time, and making your life easier.A fast-paced and physical role, you will be part of our solid team of professional drivers, safely delivering orders to our customers whilst ensuring that we always provide exceptional service.Daily responsibilities include:Collecting a consignment from our branches or plants and completing deliveries to our customers across the regionSupporting our local branch with deliveries throughout the Waikato areaFull-Time driving responsibilities, with a manual handling aspect inclusive of crane accessSafely delivering orders to our customers whilst ensuring that we always provide exceptional serviceSupporting the team to ensure our customers are receiving an exceptional serviceThis is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday based in our Waikato region.Skills and Experience:Hold a full, Clean Class 4 NZ Drivers LicenceHIAB Crane operation experience is preferred not essentialHave an excellent manner with people, especially customersBe physically fit as manual handling and heavy lifting are a requirementBe reliable and have a good attitude towards health & safetyOur Benefits:Competitive hourly rate & Staff-buying privilegesGenuine development opportunities that come with being part of the wider Fletcher Building GroupEmployment Education FundHealth & Wellbeing initiatives including an Employee Assistance Programme Joining a inclusive and diverse team and companyJoin Us:We value diversity and encourage applications from all backgrounds.
