Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Class 4 Driver to join our chip sealing team. This role is essential in supporting our road maintenance and construction projects, ensuring the effective application of chip seal materials.
Key Responsibilities: Operate Class 4 vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.Assist in the setup and operation of chip sealing equipment.Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials.Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.Qualifications: Valid Class 4 driver's license with a clean driving record.Previous experience in chip sealing or road maintenance is an asset, but not required.Strong understanding of safety practices in construction and driving.Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.Physical stamina and capability to perform manual tasks as needed.Benefits: Training and development in chip sealing techniques and equipment operation.A supportive and dynamic work environment.To be considered: Able to pass a pre employment drug screen.Right to work in NZ.Have a good attitude If you have a Class 4 license, a commitment to safety, and are ready to contribute to essential road maintenance projects, we invite you to apply!
