Position Clanwilliam Ireland have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our team in Cork.
We seek a skilled Software Engineer proficient in web application development. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in programming within the scope of large, established projects, coupled with the drive, initiative, and adeptness to collaborate effectively within our Technology Team.
As part of the Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the on-time, high-quality delivery of software changes and enhancements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Execute the entire software development life cycle (SDLC) from inception to deployment.
· Craft well-structured and testable code to meet project requirements in the PHP Laravel framework.
· Create detailed specifications and assess operational feasibility of software solutions.
· Integrate software components to form a cohesive and operational system.
· Identify and resolve issues through troubleshooting, debugging, and system upgrades.
· Adhere to project timelines and industry standards, ensuring software remains up-to-date with the latest features.

Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge, and attributes: · Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
· Relevant university degree or qualification.
· Proven track record in designing engaging interactive applications.
· Proficient in PHP development, particularly in Laravel versions 8 and above.
· Strong understanding of relational databases, including MySQL, and expertise in ORM technologies.
· Familiarity with test-driven development methodologies.
· Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of software development tools.
