We're seeking an additional Claims Manager to join our Claims Operations division. You will lead one of our claims-handling teams and work closely with the other Claims Managers. You will directly manage two claims handlers and ensure they meet their KPIs and develop their skill and knowledge.This role reports to our Head of Claims Delivery, Assessing & Auctions, and is overseen by the EGM, Claims Operations and Strategy.The role involves:Leading, motivating and developing a strong teamBeing the first point of contact for escalationHaving the confidence to manage customer, broker and staff expectationsInteractions with policyholders, brokers, assessors and all others involved in an insurance claims process. We're looking for the following:An organised, creative person with excellent time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSomeone who is a strong leader and builds respect within their team by standing alongside, getting stuck in and being 'on the tools'.A people person who is confident dealing with staff, customers and brokersSomeone eager to improve processes and exceed our customers' expectationsA sense of humour and an easy-going approach that will gel with the team immediately.
