New Zealand Police are on the lookout for multiple CJSU Supervisors, based in Wellington. These roles are full time, fixed term – until 30th June 2025.
Reporting to the Case Management Coordinator, these roles will have direct management of a CJSU team, which is focused on supporting the frontline with the preparation and management of prosecution files.
These roles are based within the Prosecutions Uplift Programme, which has been established to help clear the court backlog as well as improving the administrative support provided to the frontline when preparing prosecution files, while improving court timeliness.
Due to the requirements of the role, a solid understanding of New Zealand Legislation and/or experience in preparing criminal prosecutions is required. Additionally, we are looking for someone who has strong leadership skills and can demonstrate experience in managing high performing teams, leading a positive mindset, and influencing culture.
Key Accountabilities:

Understanding of New Zealand Legislation and experience in preparing criminal prosecutions is a must
Previous New Zealand Police experience would be advantageous, ideally with leadership background
The ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and complex environment to achieve agreed outcomes
Proven leadership, creating a strong and positive workplace culture
Ability to form relationships and gain the trust of key internal and external stakeholders

Utu a-tau | Salary
This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $102,808 and $108,894 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
