Whitestone Contracting carry out a range of works from 3 waters, roading infrastructure construction and maintenance, chipsealing and asphalt paving, landscaping, green space management and more!

About the role: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Whitestone team.
Reporting to the Waitaki Civil Division Manager, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of project work.
From pricing, tendering, managing projects end-to-end, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget with client satisfaction and health and safety at the forefront of your mind.
You will be a clear, respectful communicator, with the ability to not only manage but lead a team and have a passion for the civil industry.
Key responsibilities: Contract management, ensuring alignment with project specifications, timelines and compliance.
Sub-contractor engagement and coordination.
Clear communication with stakeholders and clients through project life cycle, with the ability to build meaningful relationships.
Staff coordination.
Strong emphasis on Health & Safety, getting your team home every day.
Financial reporting & monthly claims.
Key Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification (engineering, technology).
A strong background in paving/roading would be advantageous.
We are only considering applicants with permanent work rights in NZ.
Full, clean Class 1 NZ driver's license.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Experience with pricing is beneficial.
Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
Travel to surrounding districts where required.
