About you:
You will have a direct, focused, and adaptable approach to how you tackle projects. You should enjoy having a real presence in the work you do, operating out on site and getting stuck in with the rest of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Coordinate and oversee all aspects of project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and implementation.
Liaise with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project progression and resolve any issues promptly.
Monitor project progress and performance, conducting regular inspections and reporting on financial metrics and project status.
Implement effective risk management strategies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the NZ civil construction industry, with a minimum of 6 years in a similar role.
BE Civil or NZCE qualified (essential).
Prior project experience in subdivisions, drainage, and earthworks. Some surveying experience would also prove beneficial.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Hands-on approach to your day-to-day work.
Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
Deep understanding of New Zealand building codes and regulations.
