Civil Plant Operator

Tradestaff is currently on the lookout for diligent civil machine operators to join one of our trusted clients here in Hawkes Bay for an IMMEDIATE START. You will be contributing to the rehabilitation of Hawkes Bay post Cyclone Gabriel. Shift Pattern:The shift pattern will be 4 days on, 4 days off, 12-hour shifts. You will start at 6pm and work until 6am.These will be night shifts. You will be given a night shift allowance and travel allowance.Responsibilities:Driving a 4x2 flatbed truck (automatic)Operating loaders/ excavators between 1.7t-20tCoordinating with team members, using hand signals or radios to ensure safe and efficient operations on siteRequirements:Class 2 license and WTR endorsements are necessaryComprehensive understanding of health & safety whilst operating heavy machineryExcellent communication skills between team members, project leaders + engineersPhysically fit and able to lift up to 25+kgs on a routine basisBenefits:Contribute to the rehabilitation of Hawkes Bay1-Hour travel allowanceNight shift allowanceFull PPE providedIf you would like to contribute to a large project which will benefit many, apply TODAY on https://www.tradestaff.co.nz/jobs, or give our friendly team a call on 06 834 4610.Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
