We are seeking a skilled and experienced Paving Machine Operator to join our team for a long-term project at Auckland Airport. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in operating a Wirtgen TCM 95i texture curing machine, as well as a strong background in asphalt paving operations. This is a crucial role for the success of the project, requiring attention to detail, efficiency, and safety compliance in a high-traffic environment.
Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain the Wirtgen TCM 95i texture curing machine to ensure optimal surface preparation and curing of asphalt.Assist with the setup and calibration of the machine for various project requirements.Work closely with the paving crew to coordinate the timing of texture curing with paving operations.Report any issues or mechanical failures promptly and assist with troubleshooting and repairs.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience in operating the Wirtgen TCM 95i texture curing machine or similar equipment.Previous experience in asphalt paving and surface preparation is essential.Strong commitment to safety and compliance with all health and safety regulations.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work flexible hours as required, including weekends if needed.Desired Attributes: Full Class 1 NZDL + RTW endorsement.Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects.Benefits: Competitive wages based on experience.Opportunity to work on a long-term project.Ongoing career development and training opportunities.Stable, full-time employment with potential for future projects.How to Apply:
