Job Type: Full-timePosition Summary: As an ENGEO Staff Engineer you'll be exposed to a wide variety of project scopes, types, and technical challenges.

Each day I have gotten stronger as an engineer and as a person by the challenges presented to me." - Taylor Strack, Senior EngineerPrimary ResponsibilitiesPerform site-specific seismic hazard and ground-response analysis.Perform numerical modeling using finite-element methods as implemented in PLAXIS.Design earth-retaining structures, slope stabilization, remedial grading, landslide mitigation, and foundations.Perform settlement analyses, liquefaction analyses, and seismic evaluations.Develop geotechnical recommendations, plans, and specifications for the construction of private and public projects.Support field activities including exploratory logging, observation of deep foundation construction, shoring, grading operations, and other geotechnically relevant construction.Complete field, analytical, and project administrative tasks with direction and support from peers and leadership.Learn increasingly more complex, non-routine tasks with review and oversight from senior staff.Our Ideal Candidate1-3 years professional/relevant internship/field experienceE.I.TSound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals and soil mechanicsA team player who enjoys problem-solving and fast-paced environmentsHas an entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitudeDesire to continually learn and growExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsDriven to go above and beyond in client serviceAll Candidate RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's Degree – Required; M.S.
degree or Ph.D. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering - PreferredProficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Products.
