About the role: As a Civil & Earthmoving Estimator, you'll play a key role in managing bids and technical submissions, ensuring that each tender meets high standards of quality and client requirements. Reporting to the Senior Estimator, you'll manage the technical aspects of project bids, from scheduling and cost estimation to risk management.
Day to day responsibilities:

Prepare tender documents, including bills of quantities and schedules of materials, labor, and services.
Develop project costings and manage subcontractor payment processes.
Coordinate technical proposal aspects, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client expectations.
Conduct risk assessments, cost control, and value management across projects.
Provide support for post-contract reviews, ensuring lessons learned are documented.
Start Date: Open to immediate start or as per mutual agreement.
Days/Hours: Full-time position with 50 hours per week.

About You:
You're an experienced estimator with a solid background in civil earthmoving projects, preferably with experience in the New Zealand market. You're detail-oriented, skilled in managing project documentation, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

To succeed, you'll need:

4-6 years of civil earthmoving estimation experience in New Zealand.
Proven ability to prepare accurate and competitive tender documents.
Strong skills in cost analysis, scheduling, and procurement.
A proactive approach, able to meet tight deadlines with quality output.
