About the Role:

The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate estimates for civil and renewable energy projects. They play a crucial role in ensuring competitive bids and efficient project management, as well as assisting in tender preparation, supporting construction teams, and contributing to administrative tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring submissions to clients for expressions of interest and tenders comply with client requirements.

Preparing sub-tenders and requests for quotations for all bids.

Develop improved methods of carrying out works and increased costs and time efficiencies.

Develop tender price in accordance with required processes.

Develop market research methods and indicators to identify prospects.

Building and maintaining collaborative business relationships with key stakeholders.

Skills & Experience:

Tertiary Qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or similar.

Minimum 3 years proven experience within the construction industry, with a strong Civil background.

An expert within estimating including identifying cost options and preparing tenders and proposals.

Proven commercial & risk, planning, project controls and contractual management skills.
