Lynx Recruitment are excited to be partnered with an excellent Civil Construction & Engineering Contractor who are nationwide in NZ. The client is going through an exciting growth period. Due to this, they are now seeking a Civil Estimator with experience in:

Roading
Stormwater
Utilities
Structures
Subdivisions
Rail
Earthworks

The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating software and must have experience in cost estimating from first principles and submitting detailed tenders for a diverse range of Civil projects.

Civil Estimator's Responsibilities:

Produce accurate and detailed cost estimates from project plans, specifications & prior cost information (labour, materials, and equipment)
Pricing from first principles for a wide range of projects which include: Roading, Stormwater, Utilities, Structures, Subdivisions, Rail & Earthworks
Co-ordination of multiple tenders across a diverse range of civil projects
Lead the planning & design stage of tender submissions
Prepare take offs / Bill of Quantities

Civil Estimator's Requirements:

Experience in Roading, Stormwater, Utilities, Structures, Subdivisions, Rail & Earthworks
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or similar
Minimum of 3+ years experience in Civil Construction Estimating
Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials and build codes
Experience preparing tenders
First principles estimating practices
Experience using Bluebeam software
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
NZ or Australian Citizenship
