Job description
Arguably the biggest success story in NZ civil engineering/land development over the last decade, this consultancy is excited to be recruiting for motivated Civil Engineers of various experience levels (2-10 years) to join their expanding team in Hamilton. Whether you're an intermediate engineer looking to build on your existing skills or a senior engineer ready to take the lead on major projects, this role offers exciting opportunities to work on impactful land development and civil engineering projects. What You'll Be Doing:
Diverse Projects: You'll be involved in some of the region's most significant land development projects, from greenfield subdivisions to brownfield redevelopments.
End-to-End Involvement: Work on projects from initial design right through to delivery, managing designs, budgets, and timelines.
Hands-On Experience: Expect to visit sites, engage with contractors, and manage the build process in real-time.
Team Collaboration: You'll work in small, dynamic teams but have the opportunity to collaborate with Chartered Engineers who provide mentorship and guidance.

What We're Looking For:
Intermediate Engineers: 2-5 years of experience in civil engineering, ideally with a focus on land development. Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD is required, and a relevant tertiary qualification (BE, NZDE, BEngTech).
Senior Engineers: 5-10 years of experience in civil engineering with strong leadership and project management skills.
Strong Communication & Client Management Skills: You'll work directly with clients, councils, contractors, and stakeholders, so excellent interpersonal skills are a must.
Hands-On Approach: We're looking for engineers who enjoy being out in the field, overseeing projects as they come to life.
