Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Civil Engineering Technician. The Civil Engineering Technician will be responsible for a range of tasks related to civil engineering design, land surveying, and computer-aided design (CAD). The role is primarily based in Auckland.
Job Descriptions:
• Plan and design the construction of structures within projects including providing technical
Assistance with construction of buildings and other structures
• Application of civil engineering concepts to assist and advise accordingly
• Prepare construction plans noting the budget and the various variable costs and timetable for completion
• Organize maintenance and repairs as and where required
• Prepare estimates in terms of time, costs, labour and material
• Ensure that work conducted is within the realms of relevant legislation as well as appropriate standards
• Prepare engineering reports and applications on behalf of clients for engineering approval To council
• Monitoring and inspection of all civil and survey works
• Conduct field testing of materials and equipment and report to site engineer as were required
• Liaise with any applicable third parties, including; clients, consultants, design team and the council.
• Discuss and report any design, construction or planning problems with engineers and other team
• Any other tasks and duties that are required to be completed in your role as a Civil engineering technician



Responsibilities :
Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills
Proficient in Communication and Collaboration
Land Surveying knowledge and experience
Computer-Aided Design (CAD) proficiency
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in the HVAC industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field ( NZQA LEVEL 7) will be advantage

What you will Get:
Pay rate: $30 - $34
Minimum Hours of Work : 30 Hours a Week Maximum 45 hours a week


Nominal Salary: To be agreed
