Job Type: Full timeWork closely with in-house surveyors and planners in the land development sector as the organization enters a new phase of expansion. With recent investment in their IT systems and centralizing their workflow, this multidisciplinary firm is looking for a Senior Engineer with extensive experience in the land development sector who is seeking a lifestyle change to Queenstown. With above-market remuneration and relocation assistance provided, the ideal candidate will have experience in managing projects and will hit the ground running on some of Central Otago's largest projects.The CompanyEmploying approximately 90 staff over seven locations across the South Island, they are a highly regarded multi-disciplinary consultancy founded over 100 years ago. The firm combines most aspects of land development under one roof and services a mixture of large and small clients across multiple districts and regions. Having recently invested heavily in their IT systems and modernizing the business as a whole, now is the ideal time to join the team and become a senior member of the organization.You will work on projects from conception until completion, collaborating with the experienced in-house planners and surveyors. The highly experienced principals of each sector not only provide a solid foundation for career development but also offer the capability to take on more challenging and complex projects that build on the team's skillset.You will:A recognized NZ Degree in Civil Engineering or overseas equivalentA minimum of 5 years of experience in the civil engineering fieldExperience across a range of projects from residential to infrastructure worksExtensive expertise in civil engineering principles, codes, and standardsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with relevant stakeholdersAs the most senior engineer, you will be provided with leadership opportunities as the team grows and given the opportunity to develop your career as you identify your next steps. You will be working closely with the Head of Engineering and offers great potential for professional and leadership development.
