In addition to a competitive salary, on offer is the opportunity to participate in the business and become a shareholder with a strong track record of returns.The role:This role offers a unique opportunity to help expand this consultancy's services in Queenstown, Otago, and Southland, while also playing a key role in the growth of their Canterbury operations.Reporting to the South Island Business Regional Manager, this Queenstown-based position is ideal for someone who can work independently yet collaborate closely with our team of engineers and surveyors.The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, both in writing and verbally, and a proactive team player.Responsibilities include managing a variety of public and private sector projects, along with fostering strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including staff, clients, contractors, specialists, and council representatives.Requirements:You will have a suitable qualification in engineering5+ years' experience, ideally in Christchurch or QueenstownLand development experience.Design experience, preferably with 12D.Stormwater-focused engineering experience and experience with HEC-HMS and/or HEC-RAS is highly advantageousPractical 'on site' experienceHave working experience with local Council standards and codes of practice.You will have solid independent technical report writing skillsThis is a wonderful opportunity to work with an outstanding team under the banner of a highly respected brand.
