Our client are surveying, land development and subdivision specialists with over 60 years' experience in the Canterbury region.
Their dedicated team is committed to delivering high-quality solutions for a diverse range of projects, from rural subdivisions to large-scale townhouse and Greenfield developments.
As their workflow continues to grow, they are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join their team and contribute to their continued success.The current civil team is small but dynamic, professional and knows how to get things done!
Their pipeline is continuing to develop with a couple of fresh 300-500 lot subdivision projects just getting the green light to go ahead.
Our client is open to considering candidates from experienced Junior's through to technical Seniors, although it's not just about the experience, you will have to bring the personality to match!Key Responsibilities:Design and oversee a variety of civil engineering projects, including rural subdivisions, townhouse developments, and Greenfield projects.Utilize 12D or Civil 3D software for detailed design and modeling tasks.Conduct contract observations and ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.Manage land development projects, including site analysis, planning, and implementation.Oversee three waters infrastructure (stormwater, wastewater, and potable water) to ensure effective management and compliance with regulations.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.Address and resolve technical challenges in a proactive and innovative manner.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.3+ years minimum NZ based consulting experience with a background in land development projects.Proficiency in either 12D or Civil 3D design software.Demonstrated experience in contract observation.Knowledge and experience with three waters infrastructure.Proven track record of managing projects ranging from small rural subdivisions to large-scale developments.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.What We Offer:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including Laptop + Phone.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development through CPEng engineers.Professional membership fees covered.A collaborative and supportive work environment with Flexible working available.Involvement in diverse and impactful projects.If you think you could be interested in learning more about this opportunity, please apply via the advert or get in touch with Jordan directly!
