You will have a strong background in hydrology, design and working knowledge of site supervision of land development and civil infrastructure projects. Local Queenstown experience would be seriously advantageous. This role is a critical one in the continued growth and success of this fantastic business. The role: This role offers a unique opportunity to help expanding this consultancies services in Queenstown, Otago, and Southland, while also playing a key role in the growth of their Canterbury operations. Reporting to the South Island Business Regional Manager, this Queenstown-based position is ideal for someone who can work independently yet collaborate closely with our team of engineers and surveyors. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, both in writing and verbally, and a proactive team player. Responsibilities include managing a variety of public and private sector projects, along with fostering strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including staff, clients, contractors, specialists, and council representatives. Requirements You will have a suitable qualification in engineering 5+ years' experience, ideally in Christchurch or Queenstown Land development experience. Design experience, preferably with 12D. Stormwater-focused engineering experience and experience with HEC-HMS and/or HEC-RAS is highly advantageous Practical 'on site' experience Have working experience with local Council standards and codes of practice.
