Job Summary: They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Civil Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects in New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of civil construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Lead and supervise project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.Develop and maintain project documentation, including contracts, reports, and permits.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates and address any issues or concerns.Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction project management.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.PMP or similar certification is a plus.
