Civil Construction Labourers Wanted Asap!

The Dunedin Civil Construction Industry is well underway for summer, and we need you!We have 2 positions available to start immediately as Civil Costruction labourers:These roles will be hands-on, physical roles that demand a good level of physical fitness and experience doing physical tasks for long periods.Duties will include: building timber retaining walls, either involved in augering/cleaning out the holes, standing and fitting off the timber elements, general backfilling/compacting works.This is your opportunity to start a career in an industry that will upskill you and will set you up for life.
There is the potential for career development: learn the ropes with a view to becoming a Machine operator, Drainlayer, Supervisor.What you need:Work ethic: Reliability, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.Fitness: This is physical work so you will need to be fit and strong and have stamina.Team Player: Working in small teams so you will need to get on with others.Health and Safety: There are significan hazards so you will need to work safely and follow processes to the letter.What we can provide:Safety Training: We will pay for Site-safe and/or construct safe courses.Machine Operating tickets: If required, we will pay for WTR tickets up front (you will need to reimburse us weekly).Apprenticeships: We can facilitate formal apprentice training so you gain recognised qualifications.If you think you tick all the boxes and would like the opportunity to start a new career with guaranteed progression
