Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Civil Concreter to join our team in Wellington. As a concreter, you will play a crucial role in various construction projects, ensuring the proper installation and finishing of concrete structures.
Responsibilities:
Concrete Placement: Pouring and finishing concrete for foundations, slabs, walls, and other structures.
Formwork Preparation: Setting up formwork and ensuring accurate dimensions.
Reinforcement Installation: Placing steel reinforcement bars as per design specifications.
Finishing Techniques: Troweling, screeding, and curing concrete surfaces.
Quality Control: Ensuring work meets safety standards and quality requirements.
Collaboration: Working closely with other tradespeople and project teams.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a civil concreter.
Skills: Proficient in concrete placement, finishing, and formwork.
Physical Fitness: Able to handle heavy lifting and work outdoors.
