We are looking for experienced Class 5 Drivers with expertise in Road Ranger gearboxes to join our team.
Job Title: Civil Class 5 Driver with Road Ranger Experience Location: Hamilton Key Responsibilities: Operate Class 5 vehicles, including heavy trucks and trailers, in a safe and efficient manner.
Proficiently use Road Ranger (non-synchromesh) gearboxes.
Transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites.
Assist with the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring secure transport.
Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
Work collaboratively with the site team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Follow site safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
Key Requirements: Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
Minimum 2 years of experience driving heavy vehicles.
Proven experience operating Road Ranger gearboxes.
Knowledge of road safety and transport regulations.
Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks, including loading/unloading.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Reliable, punctual, and able to meet tight deadlines.
