As a Carpenter, you'll play a vital role in constructing and maintaining civil projects such as bridges, roads, and utilities. Your work will directly impact the safety and functionality of our community.
Key Responsibilities: Formwork and Framing : Construct and assemble formwork for concrete structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to engineering specifications. Bridge Construction : Assist in building and repairing bridges, including timber and steel components. Infrastructure Maintenance : Repair and maintain utility structures, retaining walls, and other civil assets. Safety Compliance : Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment. Team Collaboration : Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other tradespeople to achieve project goals. Qualifications: Trade Qualified Carpenter : Essential for this role. Experience in Civil Construction : Familiarity with infrastructure projects. Attention to Detail : Ability to interpret plans and execute precise carpentry work. Physical Fitness : Comfortable working outdoors and lifting heavy materials. Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to troubleshoot and adapt to changing project requirements.
